There's a snapping turtle in my driveway. What do I do with him
Eta. So in interviewing someone in 10 minutes had to let them know I'd be late. I went to leave and noticed my neighbor was getting ready to go back and get gloves to grab him. Shirt and tie on I grabbed him first and threw him in this tub in the garage. Told neighbor my house my property

JTTF! No really, Just go grab it by the tail, then put a .22 bullet through the head. DO NOT Grab it by the shell. You will regret this. Hold arms straight out while carrying, or your legs will pay the price.

Let him bite your ear lobe and wear him as an earring like kids do with lizards.

I hope your garage door is shut. He won't be in that tub when you get home.

Yeah he's not going anywhere.

Not sure. I've just kinda always had a couple. They are handy for deer guts, catfish, and crawfish rinsing.

That pic is great!
I still remember the 2ft wide one my dad grabbed on the side of HWY 90 in New Orleans east as a kid.
We named him snappy and kept him in the backyard for a day or two until he "ran away". My dad dropped him back off after he escaped the big tub a few times.

They can launch themselves with enough force to turn that #5 over. He gone.
