Chances Cajuns can win out and host a regional?

Their RPI is great currently and they still have a huge series at home against South Alabama this weekend then go on road to ULM.
40-14(currently 34-15) and RPI in top 20 may get them a host site depending on what they do in their tourney.
They are 24-5 at home so it is possible.

God I hope so. I dont think itll happen. The last couple of seasons have been rough so I'm glad to see us doing well for a change.

Would love for them to get a regional and be paired with BR regional. Easiest road to Omaha of all time.

I know LSU will be a #2 or 3 national seed but I love it when we have a chance for two teams in Omaha.....if they don't host they are likely coming to the box and their season will end mighty quickly.

I would rather us go out west for a regional then maybe have a showdown with LSU in the super regional. Would be a hell of an atmosphere in BR

With a strong final end to season you are in much better shape than most on the bubble especially with South Alabama coming to your place.

There is no team in the tourney who wants to be paired in BR.....just saying thats obvious......your best hope is a site like Ole Miss or Arkansas getting a bid and a miracle happening.
Or hosting yourself and getting paired with the ACC or PAC12.

Check out Baseball America's Stock report on the post season in the Tiger Rant. They have a lot of crediabilty amongst college baseball fans as their writers actually attend games & make an effort to know what the shite they write about.In that article, it does not look good for the chilli peppers/bulldowg/ragin cajuns from SLI/USL/ULLLL.

i thought it had them on the cusp of hosting. I thought that article was pretty positive for ULL.

Winning out, including the conference tourney(At the Tigue) is quite possible. Hosting however is a LONG shot. I'd bet the kitchen sink we will end up the 2 seed in BR.

Plus I don't think the NCAA would put 2 teams hosting a regional within an hour of each other unless we were one of the top teams in the country.
