I have 40 ac in perry county ms. Saw two deer last season and shot both, a doe and a little 8 pt. I own that piece and hunt it alone unless i bring somone. It would be nice to hunt a place where there are more deer.
My uncle and two cousins hunt a club that has beacoup deer and cost $650/yr. They lost two members and want me to join. 1000 acres/9 members and they each saw at least 30 deer and killed 5-6 each. Good deal? This is in Southeast AR 5 hours away vs my place in MS that is 2 hrs away. How many of y'all drive that far to hunt?
Two deer a year is plenty meat, I'd just like to see more and have a shot at a nice one sometimes.
Wwtodbd?

Where in SE Ark?

ETA-100 acres for 9 members? $650 seems high and not enough land for 9 hunters.

I would join a club that allowed me enough room to sneeze without getting snot on the guy in the next stand.
