Steve is definitely going to be in the finale, even though they've been trying to keep it a secret and throw people off.

Anyone else kind of hope Michael doesn't return?

I think he makes a final return with Holly and their kid(s). Probably for Dwight and Angela's wedding (my opinion only).
Plus, he was the star of the upcoming documentary for years. I would be disappointed if he didn't make an appearance.

Michael was great. I just agree with Carell about his exit being the perfect way to go out.

is this like a dukes of hazzard reunion 10 years later?

but his life will be changed by being a reality TV star.
He even said to tell him when the show was coming out.
I think he makes a brief cameo in the last episode.

She was definitely uncomfortable in that interview.

Months after the airing of the documentary, present and past employees of Dunder Mifflin gather for a wedding. In addition, everyone comes together for a final round of interviews. The episode will guest star Mindy Kaling, B.J. Novak, Rachael Harris, Dakota Johnson, Joan Cusack, Ed Begley Jr., Malcolm Barret, Matt L. Jones, Andy Buckley, and Michael Schur.[42]
This is the description for the finale. The wedding is most likely Dwight's.I know there are a few of the old characters (Ryan, Kelly) not on the show anymore besides Michael- but what are the chances they have Dwight's wedding with out Michael Scott. I say he's there.

So two more episodes?
Wonder if they are going to do the finale like the British version. In the British one the finale takes place some time after the documentary and basically follows up on where they are now.
I didn't think they'd have a Dwight-Angela wedding, but going this route they could and this is how Michael comes back into the fold.

The last episode has already ripped a lot of the ideas from the British ending.
