I've always liked the idea of the FF more than the actual FF. I think they only work in a larger Marvel universe. Anyways this girl is alledgely up for Invisible Woman LINK
really hope this falls through and Marvel gets the rights back to them. Or at least Fox has the brains to combine them with the X-Men universe.

Good question. I think for me it's probably because Alba's dye job looked so dang fake. I'm not saying it's a good reason but it took me out of the movie just a bit last time (the foam rubber Thing suit didn't help either)
99% of the time it doesn't make a difference to me what hair color a character has. But it just seems like Sue Storm should be an actual blond.

I don't see Fantastic Four working out well in a standalone film. Ever.
An Avengers-type film, sure.
Also, this wave of hero movies is going to break soon and there is gonna be some serious money lost.

She's beautiful but I agree with methuseleh that someone who looks like her should play her. It's just better. Alba was not a good choice at all.
The real issue was how cartoonish the movies were. The best comic movies like Batman and Xmen are a little gritty and not goofy. Kiddie movies suck.

Not for the FF. Their movie should be the biggest sci-fi adventure you've ever seen. If you think otherwise, you've never read an even half decent FF story.

Yeah. The FF were always billed as a family of adventurers. Some of that was sic-fi-ish. Some was kind of in Indiana Jones Or Tomb Rider type stories.

I swear Hollywood will diversify just to make it pc.
I hope the movie fails miserably and Marvel can get their rights.

A black human torch is just fricking stupid. Part of the F4 dynamic is the interplay between brother and sister.
