Qualify this be saying considered not a overly productive athlete that went on to have a career in NBA, ABA, MLB , NFL ,USFL or CFL.

Danny McCray comes to mind.

Ryan Clark was a solid player at LSU, but I don't think anybody was expecting him to have such a great pro career.

Garret Temple??

Danny McCray was blasted his whole career by fans at LSU and he's now entering his 4th year with the Cowboys making 1.4mil.

Warren Morris, other than that 1 insignificant hit (LOL) did barely anything at LSU I believe, and had a career in the majors if I remember correctly.

Ryan Clark was good at LSU but if you told me he would be one of the best safeties in the NFL for a decade on the Steelers with Lebeau I would've laughed.

On the flipside of this thread, one about guys who were overdrafted would be fun. Ill never understand how Tyson Jackson went in the top 5

Randal Gay

Perry Riley (he was a stud in our eyes, but I don't think the rest of the country felt the same)

There was a D lineman in the eighties who never cracked the starting lineup, and went on to play several years for the Steelers.
