just finished series last night. i'd seen 1 and 2 multiple times but had seen 3 only once fully and again partially.

3 was a bit too twisty and strayed slightly from its roots, but still great. esp compared to most comedies.

i seldom watch comedy, much less rewatch comedy (i don't even rewatch movies usually). but there is so much packed into those three seasons, i think i could watch several more times and not get bored.

When people try to paint shows as Big Bang Theory as "smart", I always point them towards Arrested Development as to what a truly smart comedy is.

AD does an incredible job of mixing smart humor with obvious (I guess that's the right word) humor. It will have you laughing bc of some ridiculous Gob scenario and then hit you with an ingeniously subtle joke.

I have been waiting 7 long years for a new episode. The show is finally getting the love that it deserves. It's astonishing that this show did not get more viewers back in the day, funniest show that's been on network television in a long time. My personal favorite.

It really gets confusing when the stuff in the "Next episode" actually happens. You dont know what to believe

I know. I was young when it came out and basically started watching it because my older siblings always wanted to. I don't think I picked up on that until a solid 4-5 episodes into the first season because it was harder to realize when there was a week long break that nothing they showed in the preview was actually in the next episode.

I more so have been waiting for a movie because the way the third season ends. The show was so obvious in the third season about their struggles to get picked up, I loved that part of the third season. But I do agree that it got a little over the top but I think that's what happens when you need to rush and hurry to a conclusion because it got cut short.

I love how the price of the suit changed everytime he said that joke. GOB might be one of the best characters ever put on TV

No I don't need help. I want to spill booze all over this 7500 dollar suit, come on!

That Funke is some kind of something. Boy, this Funke is all anybody's ever talking about. So sick and tired of hearing about how brilliant that Funke is. Overrated.

The first Marta was much hotter. I'm about to finish season 1. Good stuff. I really like comedies with no laugh tracks.
