I hate mocks this early. I mean, the chances of getting your team in the proposed draft order is already a winning lottery ticket in itself. The probability of getting that right, on top of the variables of a prospective college player being at a certain projection by the following year is like getting a fortune cookie, using the numbers on the back two consecutive weeks in a row and winning both weeks. Just isn't mathematically sensible. But hey...

Maybe he was talking 7th round.. Cause if it's 7th overall

Sounds like bama fans with williams,Lacy and Fluker all going top 10

McCarron really doesn't push the envelope on pass plays, he throws them away if the coverage is too tight. Most of that is Nick Saban's conservative play calling. He'll be interesting to watch this year, maybe now that he has a bit more experience we might see Saban giving him a longer leash on how he calls the offense on the field.

I'll bet McCarron is gone after day two. I doubt first round but I think second round is a safe bet. Pretty solid QB class, too, though.

I'd feel more comfortable picking an Alabama player.

People under selling McCarron due to playing for bama. He will go in top 3 rounds barring a huge regression this year. He has pro size, a decent arm, he's intelligent, and not afraid of the big moment. I think he will make a very solid pro qb.

he could be the next brees/brady and i'd believe it. I'd say more brady due to height and gf' statuses.

2. Anthony Johnson? Pass. Glenn Dorsey and Tyson Jackson showed us what happens to stud LSU linemen when you force them in to a 3-4. Do not want.
Im not saying we should pick him but this logic is stupid. He's a freak of an athlete and nothing like those two. Just because he played at lsu doesn't mean he will automatically have the same amount of success as them

They play so safe, he's done nothing to prove that

Right. I don't think many are arguing who won't get drafted fairly early and maybe even be ok. But number 7 overall? That's a bit of a stretch.

Nah, we go offense next year. And we have a tough division, so we'll pick 27th and pick Brandon Coleman, WR from Rutgers.

Is that why he's a pro-bowler every year? Oh wait, he's not.

Just bc everyone said he would be great in a 3-4 doesn't make it so. He's mediocre at best

So... William Gholston hated Tampa Bay enough to go back to school and enter the draft again next year?
