The next milestone for Tiger Stadium atmosphere

I had a conversation today with a guy about the TS expansion. It's pretty much agreed upon that Tiger Stadium has never been better than November 3, 2012. With the expansion coming up that will put us at 100,000+ is it possible that with an even more filled in bowl shape to Death Valley and an extra 8,000 people that Tiger Stadium will eclipse the atmosphere of that night? It's hard for me to imagine a more loud or electric atmosphere than Nov 3rd.

It's very possible. More people, big games on the way. Great fans will always come and make it as loud as possible. So I'm gonna say yes.

If Saban is still there and the expansion is finished, I think the 2014 Bama game will be the loudest ever.

Yeah, it's possible. But Nov 3rd wasn't the best. Florida '07 was downright epic.

Yes. When LSU gets good at football again.

You haven't been to many games.

I don't like the idea for expansion. I see a ton of empty sats in the future. We already don't fill Tiger Stadium except for one, maybe two games a year.

My family already has our seats picked out in the new expansion.

Yeah I'm looking forward to the 2014 conference schedule coming out. The September non-conference games will probably set an attendance record, but there won't be much atmosphere. Would be great if Sept. 20th was a huge early season conference game.
Florida '09 was so frustrating, but it was electric pregame.

Loudest I have been to was 11' Ar-Kansas. How does this game compare to the games mentioned before?

I wasn't there, but...
Sad if true.

Nov 3 2012 was NOTHING compared to Florida in '07.

I've been to several games in TS where the atmosphere beat the hell out of the 2012 Bama game. The UF game in 2007, the UT and Moo State games in 2000, the 2003 UGA game, and the 1997 UF game, just to name a few.

The next milestone will be complete when the scoreboard gets seismograph readings or a meter displaying decibel levels.
Give the fans something THEY can affect and see measured.

Of course it is. I remember my Freshman Year against Florida in 2007. I thought the place couldn't ever get louder, and then they announced the USC score and the final drive with Hester and I was proven wrong instantly. Until last year I considered that the most electric environment I had been to. Then the Alabama game, particularly the second half was as good as it gets. I'm sure with more people, and the expansion keeping more of the sound in, and a great game, Tiger Stadium will top my experiences yet again.

UGA 2003 says hello.

I hope they spent some time on the architecture to help with the expansion keeping more noise in
