So Glenn throws possibly the best game of his career last week

And doesn't even see the mound this weekend. If Mainieri makes the right call, we might still be playing in a scoreless tie. McCune just doesn't have it. His fastball is as flat as a board, absolutely no movement at all.

Motivational trickery by Coach PDM.

Oh so Glenn would have thrown a shutout if Manieri starts him?

Did not like it at all...very disappointed Glenn didn't get the start

You agree with starting McCune today?

I really would have liked to see Glenn start and have McCune first off the bench in middle relief today. Some things work, some don't.
Pitching was not the problem today. I would have liked to see them work the count a little more and put some pressure on the pitcher. We did hit him some, just right at guys.

I don't understand it at all
Glenn must either be in trouble for something or for whatever reason the coaches thought he needed some rest this weekend

Go back and count the posts calling on Mainieri to bench Glenn and start McCune
As soon as he does, Rantards crawl out of their holes criticizing the move.

Wouldn't mattered who we pitched, they would have lost with zero run support...Nola gave up 2, it could have easily been him, and we'd still lost...Guys were trying too hard, it comes with the pressure. The other guys have won 2/3 National Championships, and have great coaching. We'd rally for a couple hits, and they would mound visit, and kill our MO, every time. They were perfect, and we rushed every at bat, seems like. They were better, today.

Right, because Glenn has proven he holds teams scoreless for 9 innings.
And McCune pitched terrible the two innings he threw against Alabama.

I promise you I was not one of them

Well fortunately or unfortunately, we could have thrown Casey Yocom on the bump today and we still woulda lost. Can't win if you don't score, right?

I didnt realize how slow he throws until today either. He was 86-87 on his fastball

Would Glenn have scored a run for us too?

It's about the postseason, this game against USC doesn't mean shite if we don't find another starter for the postseason
38-4 was nice, 6 straight SEC series wins was nice. We're not going to win the SEC and it's time to get ready for the postseason.
