i would love this. that said it would have to be in september and we would have to get half the tickets if theres no return game. i have no doubt we could bring 30k plus up for this one

Great idea by Alvarez. Lambeau is a once in a lifetime opportunity for our players. Wisconsin shouldve been playing in Lambeau long before this. Likewise for their players, playing in N.O. would be special as well.

I could not agree more!!!! The fanbase would be there in droves for this one! I would have to make that trip! Lambeau in September Awesome!

Pro venues suck for college games (except for the alcohol sales), and there aren't enough hotel rooms in Green Bay. Brought a girl up there this year, bc she is a Pack fan, and we had to stay 30 plus minutes away Applegate or some no name town like it.

Why are there so many people in this thread complaining about it being at Lambeau? Do you not realize that Lambeau is one of the most famous sporting venues in the WORLD? That would be a tremendous honor to see LSU take the field there.

lucas oil would be a better location as far as a neutral site but it would be kinda cool to play at lambeau.

Hmm, maybe because Green Bay itself is such a shitehole of a town, famous sporting venue or not?
Madison is one of the best college towns in the nation (douchebaggery of the students towards away fans notwithstanding). Anyone making this trip would enjoy a game at Camp Randall far, far more.
Just one caveat: my dad made the trip up to UW way back in '70, '71 or whenever it was, first time we ever played Wisconsin and he said their fans were the absolute WORST he'd ever encountered - nonstop cursing, having garbage pegged at them, even at our players down on the sideline. Hopefully their manners are a touch better these days.

Yes, make this happen. Preferably in December on the frozen tundra. I love good out of conference matchups, and the setting would be awesome.
