I may be overreaching, but I really love this pick. While having him develop and get stronger I could definitely see us using him as a power fb lining up in backfield, or reporting as eligible and actually having to be accounted for. I guarantee CSP has some use planned for him prior to taking over the LT spot.

The great thing about CSP is you never know. And neither does the opponent.

Funny you mention that. My buddy said he was listening to Serius radio and said he heard something about using him to rush the passer? I don't know if he was taking crazy pills but the guy is 6'5" 306 and runs like a 4.7. Payton is a mad scientist and Ryan may be in that same boat.

IDK. I thought it was a reach but he swore that's what he heard on the radio. Just passing it along

I mean it's not that far fetching. Definitely an interesting athlete.

You just never see it. Apparently the guy is very smart as well. This may end up being a Jimmy Graham type pick if he really puts in the work.

This really does look like one of the best top half drafts this organization has gotten. I'm so pumped to see these guys play and the defensive transition. Is it football season yet? Frick!!!

It's a cute idea but I would be surprised to see it happen

He went to a smaller college so he could participate in track and field. I just don't know what events that was. Anybody got an idea?

fullback is doubtful as most successful FBs are more like bowling balls, this guy is big and lean.

But a 6'5" 320 lb tackle with 4.7 speed and good footwork----- sounds like he could definitely slide out to TE at times. And with Graham already on the field, that would create serious havoc on the defense.

I would love to see him de-cleating some 180 lb CB on a crossing route/pick play just as Lance Moore is getting the ball.

Sorry to rain on anyone's parade, but 10 bucks and recent history say that he will have a minor "hamstring injury" at the very end of preseason and they IR him.

I was thinking report as eligible and have him peel off the edge as 3rd te/extra tackle.

I heard he has been training with Chuck Norris during the off season.

If we acquire a solid vet LT on a 1-year contract or something, yeah I could see the Saints doing this....errr, uhm....I could see this freakishly coincidental event happening.

Have we ever had a tackle report as eligible?
