Nice pic of my bull. First fish on my new chronarch.
:inb4feetinpic:
Didn't do a hoist pic in the boat, so this is the best I could do.

Forgive my ignorance but I thought those bull reds weren't good to eat

Crazy thing is we probably actually caught two limits. We started throwing back keeper reds because they were too small. The smallest one we kept was 25 inches.
But, of course, the only memory I'll take out of this was I had a really nice 20 pound bull red break the line right at the boat.

Yall fish the mouth of South Pass? We used to have a camp out there by the lighthouse in Port Eades Marina right at the mouth

quote:Depends on your definition of bull red. 27"-35" I wouldn't call a bull red and they eat well. You start to run into worms in the large fish 40"+. However the 16"-20inchers are the best tasting
