Turning the heat up. I'm willing to bet they gave the SEC office a year to get it fixed, when it wasn't and with no plan to add two more schools or go to a 9 game conference schedule Les and Alleva decided to begin the attack.

If you look through out history thats been the case more time than not.

I think permanent foes is ridiculous. And I like the fact that we play Florida. It beefs up our schedule. But the one and only reason the entire conference has to have one permanent opponent from the other division is so Bama can play Tennessee and Auburn can play Georgia. Stupid.

At least Les is making noise now. If these things stay quiet and our adminstration just keeps accepting these unbalanced schedules, nothing will change.

That's two reasons, not one.

I actually spoke to Joe Alleva about this yesterday. He said at the SEC offices they voted about permanent opponents. He got outvoted 11-3. The schools against permanent opponents were LSU, USCe and Texas A&M

Wonder why the Mississippi schools and Vandy and Kentucky are opposed to the idea.

Dude hasnt coached one game.

Im all for playing UF. But that also means uga and usce dont get rotated as much. Which are way better away trips than gainesville.

I like playing UF every year. But if we're going to continue to do that with 14 teams in the conference, we need to play 9 games.

ETA: None of the east schools want 9 games because of their OOC matchups. We need to force them to choose.

I LOVE LSU-UF every year. That's a big one, and it's part of LSU Football.
