Per Brett McMurphy on twitter.

Fiesta, Cotton, & Chic Fila get semifinal games.

SIAP I searched.

Isn't the Corton also in Jerry World? So a team could get to play twice in there? Seems like that could cause a problem, huh?

The chicken bowl? Really? Wow. Shocked they wouldn't pick Rose and/or Sugar over those.

Also seems dumb to have both Cotton and NC game on the same place.

Also, the Fiesta, Cotton and Chick-fil-A bowls will join the Rose, Sugar and Orange bowls in the six-bowl semifinal rotation for the new playoff, sources said.

Why? Sugar bowl and bcs game in the superdome worked.

why WOULDN'T the Fiesta be involved?

pretty cool though. That's 4 spots SEC fans can get to fairly easily

You don't have a team play in the Sugar and then play in the NC game in the dome a week or two later though.

Sugar Bowl wasn't a part of a playoff though. Separate system

I guess it's more like a regional in the NCAAs.

Even with a playoff system, CFB will always find a way to spark controversy.

So for the 2014 season, the sugar and rose will be semi finals with title game in cotton bowl.

The next season, the semifinals will be in cotton and orange, so where will the title game be?

Also, I'm assuming the title game could be in any city, not just the 6 cites used for the semifinals. This is evident by the fact that Tampa almost got the first title game

It's a rotation. There will be two semi-final games each year and one NC game. The other four bowls will be filled (by committee) by at-large teams, conference champions, etc.

So this year, I believe the only that is set so far is the NC Game in Dallas. The two semi-final games probably won't include Cotton this year due to that, it'd be between the other 5 bowls.

This tweet is just clarifying that the 6 bowl rotation was rounded out with Fiesta, Cotton, and Peach. Essentially, the NCAA wants two more bowls to have the prestige like the BCS Bowls had.

There isn't...

That was just a really shitty and confusing way of saying those three places will also get to host semifinal games during the playoffs.

2014 season is Sugar, Rose with the champ in Arlington.
