Do it. Very easy. Can you boil water? Then you can make beer.

Here are a couple more step-by-steps. Check out LoneStar's extract thread. Extract is an excellent way to get in to brewing.

What items are essential to homebrewing? I'm talking about large pots, scales, flasks, thermometers, etc.

Basically, what kind of equipment is required to really get started...

Obviously I could go to a home brew store but I was curious to get yalls thoughts.

that beer still hasn't carbonated. Pity, because it tastes really good.

I am planning to box it up and let it sit until I get a keg system, then dump it all into a keg and carbonate it that way
