but you actually did. No one is even disputing he received a camp offer

Having a committable offer and a "Come to camp and if you do well we'll actually offer" is not nearly the same. He doesnt hold an actual offer, our premium guys have confirmed that.

No LSU offer

Sorry, not going to read the whole thread (Read all but page two).

Was this an article about LSU recruiting him or was it about schools like Ohio St. being on him? Some people think tOSU will offer him & try to close him if they can't flip Deshaun Watson from Clemson.

Just wondering if this was in the context of camping in or out of state.

If you read the entire article, he makes good points. Comes off as confident, not arrogant. Says he will visit w LSU and company but wants to basically use camp visits w schools he knows he has an offer from. Quote is accurate but out of context. Also says cam cam is going to watch him practice.

Wasn't anything about that. This is basically all about LSU and just his recruitment in general. I understand things can be misconstrued in an interview though.

He says positive things about LSU in the interview. Cam will go watch him throw in practice soon. I'm guessing he's expecting an offer at that point. He also says he doesn't mind competing with Rettig and Jennings. He talks about not being a guy that will de-commit.

I'll give him some credit. He said some good things in the interview, but that one quote just rubbed me the wrong way.

I would bet that the quote is inaccurate as to his true feelings. After all, it is a quote. NOne of us were there, so take it for what it's worth.

a rational view in a irrational thread. it's amazing how bent out of shape people get over some innoculous quote that could be wrong or misinterpreted. he flat out said he wasn't trying to sound arrogant....nuff said.

get better.

Brandon and his ego can get a cup of coffee for $1.49 at RaceTrac.

There is no line of work in America today, where in some form we don't "audition". And successful people know that humility might be their best weapon in the long run.Brandon needs to know that despite what his HS posse (Potsy, Ralph and the boys) tells him, he has NOT "arrived" yet. At best he is a work-in-progress.

Brandon has always thought very highly of himself. Personally I question how much of a competitor he is because he chooses to go to parkway instead of the school in his attendance zone because the school in his attendance zone traditionally is not as strong in football as parkway has been the last few years. If he is as good as he says he is why wouldn't he go to the weaker school in the attendance zone in which he lives and make that school better. I remember when he was a freshmen and the school whose attendance zone he actually lives in beat him and his parkway teammates down in freshmen ball and he then proceded to recruit them to join him at parkway. He was successful in bringing in their best player, the reciever jefferson to join him at parkway. I have also seen him play basketball and his toughness on the hardwood is definitely a question mark. So where ever he decides to go best of luck to him and his ego.

Who knows since when has it been a crime for a kid to express his opinion on his recruiting process if the kid does not want to waste his time driving out to some school to put on a horse and pony show that may not even offer him so be it. He has offers at others schools. Some of you guys act as if he is less of a man if he doesn't come and "earn" his offer wtf!? He is more of a man because he recognizes how important his time is and he is not going to waste it visiting a school who will most likely jerk him around.

If a kid feels disrespected because was asked to earn something, that says way more about the kid than anyone else.

You guys read way too much into this stuff. It's no big deal. He needs to do what he feels is best for him. It's almost like people take this stuff personal. If he handles the recruiting process wrong and misses out on an offer then he alone suffers the consequences. No big deal. It's not personal. LSU will move on and have no problem finding other players.

Maybe the kid wants to practice and play around better players? Makes perfect sense to me because youll never get better playing around weaker competition. With your line of thinking, do you question if a stud New Orleans kid is a competitor because they choose to go to LSU over Tulane?

What is the weaker school district he lives in? I'm sorry but a parkway is not some great football school. They were good last year, but have long been very mediocre!

Easily narrowed the list down to Bossier HS...definitely not Airline, Haughton or Benton....Bossier would be the only school left.
