It took me forever to find this pic, but here is pea puree utilized with pork. Admittedly, the sear on the pork was lame, but I did nail a perfect 145 midrare. 
Slice off a tender morsel of pig or grab a chunk of roasted veggie and dip that into what started as frozen peas. You'll change your mind in a hurry.

Made a hummus with the one time and it was really really good, never even crossed my mind to add some mint!
