Anybody ever listened to Dawes?

I've never heard of them but a friend of mine said they were coming to New Orleans and that I should check them out.
Anybody a fan or can give me a few good songs to test out?

All three albums are very strong... not really a bad tune on them... Of course it's really got that Laurel Canyon sound so if you dont like that, odds are you wont like them... the new one is starting to branch out a bit..
The new one just dropped last week or so... Stories Dont End
Nothing is Wrong is my favorite of the three...
edit: Excellent musicians too... been asked to back Robbie Robertson, Jackson Browne and Bob Dylan...

I guess I'll have to check them out when they come to New Orleans. Its only like a $10 ticket so no excuse not to.

One of Mrs. Baloo's favorite bands. She's a huge fan. I'm a little more lukewarm on them, but When My Time Comes is a friggin' outstanding song. I can't argue with that.

I enjoy them. They played an outstanding, intimate set on a small stage at Bonnaroo last year.
When I first heard their stuff, Jackson Browne immediately came to mind. Then I found out they've collaborated so it all made sense.

They have that Cali sound. I think Dawes sounds like bland Warren Zevon.

Just listened to Nothing Is Wrong and they are really good. I'm kind of surprised I haven't heard about them before
