Looks like they lost another RB to injury, even if it is short term.

It's a broken tibia. He will be back in 3 months with ussually no resulting lingering affect. Remember fournette will not be on a campus for another year and a half. This has nothing to do with how hard they will go for fournette /thread

Dont see how a fractured leg to a guy now affects 2014 RB recruits

yeah, if he misses spring practice then they will definitely press harder for Fournette, who will be in high school.

Bama can push as hard as they want, it won't matter in the end

It IS a minor injury but also more injury prone. Bama also has two other backs that are currently rehabbing. They did pick up a few this year, ut I could see these injuries as an angle they will use in recruiting.

Vigor 2015 running back DeSherrius Flowers commits to Alabama
By Ben Thomas

MOBILE, Alabama - Vigor 2015 running back DeSherrius Flowers received a scholarship offer from Alabama coach Nick Saban last month.

It didn't take him long to make up his mind.

Flowers told AL.com today that he committed to the Crimson Tide on Friday....

So when the RB has fully healed, LF can break his leg again in practice shooting the gap?

Called the long-process.

Good for them.

Henry and Fournette would make a devestating pair of LB's

Alabama signed (4) 4* running backs in it's 2013 class and LSU didn't sign a single running back. Fournette has no chance of getting early playing time at LSU and will go to Bama because they are so desperate. Right?

If anything, this article just solidifies the reasons for LF to go to LSU. Alabama signed 3 top 10 RBs last year, LSU intentionally did not sign a single RB because they knew that he was the guy that he was the guy they wanted. Not being a homer, but LSU is the best choice for this guy and it isn't even close.
