Songwriting - Favorite lyrics/melody to a song

Sometimes, you hear a song and the lyrics really do a good job of telling an interesting story - together with a nice melody. My favorite is "Vincent" by Don McLean.

croce might have been the best singer/songwriter that i have ever heard. i owe my father for my love for him.
