Dr. Who. Most overrated show ever?

I am trying to give this show a chance. I mean, I love sci-fi but this is unbearable. I hear so much about this show but so far, halfway through the first season, I can't take this stupidity and cheesy ness anymore.

watch a few of the David Tennant episodes. I hated the Eccleston episodes but Tennant was awesome.

I started with what amazon said was season 1. There is a blonde with nice tits named Rose. I'm currently on a show about a child disease that makes kids grow gas masks.

No. This current show is part 2 of a show in the amazon first season called "The doctor dances." I honestly did not know there were other versions of the show. Do they all suck this bad?

Watch that two parter episode and see if you like it any better. If you don't like that watch an episode called Blink in the third season. If you don't like Blink you won't like Dr Who (and have poor taste, but that's another matter).
The first part of the first season of the reboot has a high cheese factor and several episodes that aren't great. The season picks up starting with that gas mask episode. Seasons 2 and 3 are much better with David Tennant than the first season is. But if you don't like the gas mask episode at all the show just might not be for you.

If you don't like the Empty Child then just stop. That and Dalek are a couple of the better episodes throughout the new run.
I don't get the Eccleston hate around here. At least he didn't say humans are fantastic 300,008.3 times like Tennant did.
Plus every Tennant episode ends with him waving the magic stick of lazy writing.
Not to say I hate Tennant. He is leaps and bounds better than Smith and Smith waves his magic stick just as much.

Definitely stick it out to the second season. Ten is my favorite. Just now starting to warm to Eleven,

I'll give it a few more episodes just because I don't like to be a quitter, but you're right, this might not be for me. Which seems weird because I typically love Brit shows and I love sci-fi. But this just doesn't seem to work for me.
