I really wish this was an ESPN game so I could watch at work, but it'll be nice to go home to a big time match on my DVR .

considering the way we played Saturday, we should be well rested for this one.

this is a massive match. arsenal likely locks up top 4 with a win. an everton win makes it a 4 team race for the remaining 2 CL spots.

1 for 3, that isn't even a phenetic spelling of Kevin's last name

What a huge difference it would be if Everton beat the Tots last week

ETA: Are Schezny, Dioubee, Vermeeeleen and Cockulin playing well?

Hmm is mert able to come back? I'm not sure if it was a 1 or 3 match ban. I'd feel more comfortable with him and kos I think. Also I'd guess Nacho will be starting with gibbs going the full 90 this weekend..

Good question. Results the last few years:

2013: 1-1 draw
2011/2012: 1-1 draw 1-0 Arsenal win
2010/2011: 2-1 Arsenal win 2-1 Arsenal win
2009/2010: 2-2 draw 6-1 Arsenal win
2008/2009: 1-1 draw 3-1 Arsenal win

Should be a good match.

After the way Walcott and the Ox looked Saturday, I'd like to see them both on the field somehow.

Sagna Per(TV5) Kos Gibbs
Ramsey Arteta Cazorla
Walcott Giroud Ox

I know Cazorla has played on the wings a lot, but that seemed to be to make room for different midfielders. With Wilshere looking average at best last game and Rosicky being nicked up (he might be back, I have no idea), I'd like to see something like the lineup above. Maybe even switch Poldi for Ox.

per is back. his red wasn't for violent conduct. safe bet he and monreal start.

I'd also bet on Walcott and poldi starting with a midfield three of santi, rambo and arteta

Is Monreal considered the #1 LB choice? When healthy, I have been very impressed with Gibbs. I have liked Monreal, but I'd place Gibbs slightly above him. I guess it's a better problem to have than an injured Gibbs and Santos.

Monreal is better defensively (gibbs ranges forward more and gets caught out) but otherwise they're both great. On the other side Gibbs pairs extremely well with Podolski so if he starts I wouldn't mind a Gibbs start as well.

I'd say Monreal Kos Mert Sagna (still say go jenks but w/e)

Arteta and Ramsey in their normal roles.

Cazorla in front, Walcott right Poldi left, Giroud up top.

Rosicky and Ox will come in as subs.

Although Wenger was quoted a day or so ago saying Lukas might get time as the CF so who knows maybe giroud gets a break

I think Monreal might be just ahead in the pecking order. probably will start tomorrow because everton presents more of a threat.
