I don't know if I should be impressed by the secrecy or disenchanted by the lack of transfer links for Arsenal. I'm confident we'll sign at least 2 by the end of the month, but I have no idea who. and we're not linked to anybody right now with the Goose move being official.

I tend to think it was who we targeted rather than actually money issues (except for Goose who got paid an unreasonable amount, I mean, frick). we seemingly assumed 'pool and leverkusen were operating as we had been the past two years, but instead they held onto their stars.
we were probably fricked by Suarez's camp. no way we'd have wasted that much time on him if they didn't believe he could leave.
I'm not heartbroken we lost out on pipita because I'm not sure how well he'd have fit, but we need a warm body up front for depth, at least.

If we can pull him and have a front 4 of Suarez, Cou, Studge and Willian... depth with Aspas, Alberto, Sterling and Ibe.. I think we'll make a real push for top 4... no European competition, so we can focus on the league...

United is reportedly in for Willian, too. With Nani banged up and Valencia coming off a rough season, we could always use an established winger.
Yeah, so, not a central midfielder, but I won't complain too much if we don't pull off that deal.
Still think we've got some central midfielder up our sleeves...or maybe that's just wishful thinking.

Well, y'all may pony up in January, when Bezema and the young dudes arent cutting it... Since he wont be cup tied...
