sounds like they are trying to piece together a society and bring back things like "fairs" that brought communities together.
We know they are like a confederation of three communities at least.

I'm really pleased with this new issue. Something bad has to be coming...

Just read it.
I don't know about the time jump. I guess I'll get used to it.
I like how the community is set up and that the introduced new people. I think their backstory will have a negative impact moving forward.

I think with the new people Rick and Co. will be going on the offensive against the scourge. Magna's group has been out there for a pretty long time it seems and depending on where they came from will decide the next move. But I have a feeling that these folks came from a long way away. Like the other side of the country, and with that Rick will decide that it's time to start expanding and incorporating the laws to newly built communities that they must establish. This corralling the herds can't work forever. The larger they get to more dangerous they are. They have to start wiping the threat out. That being said I think Carl gets his wish. Time to let our boy his thing.

I read the latest issue last night. Nothing really happened but I guess Kirkman has to establish plot points after moving the series forward so far into the future.

Well 130 is in the can and it seems the game is about to change.
Spoiler:
Magna talks to Negan but isn't fooled. The two guys that were stranded (let's call them the "Marco dudes," seeing as the one that doesn't have a fricked leg, is named Marco) are caught out in the rain with a herd behind them. They fall into a drainage ditch and wait as the herd passes by. Rick and Carl reach Hilltop where we learn that Rick is seen as Patton and Jesus all rolled into one. Rick hates it. He and Maggie go to see baby Hershel. Carl hoping to become Earl Sutton's apprentice learns that he's already got one, but Sutton has no problem with having two. Carl does. Carl is walking alone sulking when the people start screaming for a doctor. Marco has returned to Hilltop alone and is barely alive. When he wakes up he's crying about leaving his partner to die. But after Rick, Maggie, Carl, and the doctors reassure Marco everything is going to be alright, he turns on his side and said that he couldn't stand the whispers. "They were talking."

Carl mans up with Earl. Sophia has too, just not with Earl of course. She is also happy to see Carl and gets excited when she learns that he is moving to Hill Top. Rescue mission for Marco's friend is underway and Maggie has some dude trying to hit on her. Also, it kinda seems that Rick might be banging Maggie when Andrea isn't looking but that could just be me. Also, Rick, "misses Michonne." I don't know what that means but Kirkman has been trolling that she is dead. Lastly, Magna and her group have ambushed Andrea and want to ask her some questions.

dear lord I just read 132 and that ending was crazy as frick...at first I thought the walkers were becoming sentient (a la George Romero zombies in his later films)
