SNAKE....came across this SOB

Walking to my favorite fishing hole. Fortunately, the dogs found him first as he was laying in some tall grass on the side of the road. Ran back to the house and got the 20 gauge and put him to sleep permanently. Great case for buying a sidearm.

Never gave any thought to the hat band and split him in half with another round cause he kept slithering.
Honestly, it kind of freaks me out knowing how frequently my boys (7&8) travel this trail and how big this SOB was.
