Can we officially label Kansas hoops as underachievers.

Just the entire program, the whole thing. Seems they dissapoint more than produce. Always a safe bet to pick them getting upset.

KU's tradition is built primarily off founding the game, fostering some of the greatest coaches in NCAA history, and Danny and the Miracles. As a tournament team, they are huge underachievers. It is what it is, but their tradition isn't built off championships like Kentucky, NC, etc.

Heh, they've had some runs I guess, but I'd still say they underachieve for titles.
I mean 14 Final Four appearances with only 3 titles is pretty frickin' bad, should have at least 5+.

It's a basketball tournament and shite happens... they could've easily won last night if everything didn't go Michigan's way in the last 3 mins.
All you can do year in and year out is put yourself in a good position seed wise and hope u avoid land mines in the NCAAT.
KU is top tier everything when it comes to basketball.

I don't think you morons understand how hard it is to win a national title in college basketball.
It's a single elimination tournament where you have to win 6 games in a row. It's pretty much the worst way ever to determine a national champion. People just don't complain about the format because the tournament is easy to get into and it's entertaining to watch unlike the BCS.
Duke has had some shitty exits from the tournament in the past 10 years. Do we label them underachievers too?

fricking this. It sucks that people have become so enamored with upsets and "Cinderella." I've become less and less interested with this tourney over the years, and I never root for teams like FGCU to win in it.
