I've been climbing alot with Sona support. In silver I always get my role.
MPen reds
Armor yellows
MR blues
Quint of gold x3
Start off with 3 sight ward, 1 vision, and pots
Rush Philo, kages, and sigh stone
Get some ap with morellononicon

Sona's poke is so strong early game if you do it right. It's pretty ridiculous. Especially so if you build any AP at all.
Honestly, I would start with 2 sight wards, 1 vision, faerie's charm, 2 health pots. I take the explorer's ward though, so I get that extra one to put down early for free. That mana regen is crucial, IMO.
