Vyvanse is awesome in controlling my desire for drugs also. I lowered my intake from 30mg to 20mg and believe it was a terrible choice, was trying to substitute other things for it.

Glad you're getting off of them. That addiction ultimately killed my wife's father 6 years ago.

Actually been off for awhile, around 5 months, but the addiction spawned into other drugs since in my head I wasn't doing my choice substance.

Amazon switcharoo performed, now I have two hynix cards, and the highest Fire Strike score of all the 4770k/2x 290 scores.

What did this cost you?

Nothing. Ordered a Tri-X, switched serial numbers, put the Tri-X cooler on my Sapphire reference card with the Elpida, claimed it defective, and Amazon gave me a UPS label.

I know, I'm a bastard. But I consider it more of a hit against Sapphire, one of the worst GPU AIBs in the industry when it comes to warranty service. I claimed it defective so that Amazon would return it to Sapphire. The elpida couldn't OC past 1450 and would still occasionally lock up in a couple of games unless I was running it stock. Now I have another Hynix card and have so far pushed both to 1700 with no issues. Haven't even tried higher yet. The core clocks top out at about 1240mhz because of power delivery I believe, because at a certain voltage threshold it doesn't affect the power draw. I put +300mv on it for shits and giggles and it still artifacts at 1250.

Yeah, let companies like Newegg and Amazon deal with warranties. This is the only reason I buy everything new from NewEgg, because I can claim a defect and they won't blink an eye.

Anyone been paying attention to AMD CPU news? I had no idea they were planning to launch new piledrivers in a couple of days.

But honestly, an 8350 with a 100mhz bump? This looks like a move of desperation. The higher-binned 8350 vs 8320, then the 9000 series, and now these new bins, just to have something for the AM3+ socket that was released in 2014 I guess.

How many times are they going to release the same fricking chip?

Meanwhile, still the same chipset from over three years ago.

So I just ordered a cheap $500 build for League of Legends/D3 gaming mainly:

AMD A8-6600K
Gigabyte R7 260X 2GB
MSI A78M-E45 Micro ATX
Team Vulcan 8GB 1600MHz RAM
Corsair CS450M 450W Gold Certified
1TB Seagate Baracuda HDD (Taking my 180GB SSD out of my laptop for main drive)
RAIDMAX Orion ATX-809B black case (79.99 on sale for 39.99 newegg labor day)

Should be plenty decent enough, MobaFire has the 260x with a 6600K running LoL/D3 on max with ease as well as a lot of other games. Already have monitor and kb/m (razer naga).

Total for it all was $480 with about $80 worth of NewEgg mail in rebates for labor day sale.

Where can I get Win7 for free? I'm sure I'll pirate it but anyone have one they use/have used that works fine?

What?! That's a decent build for what I need it for, I did some research with his guide and one on MobaFire should do just fine, only thing that had iffy reviews but still 4 eggs was the mobo everything else was highly reviewed.

Some damn good labor day savings too.

I thought you already had a build? Didn't you have a 7950 in it?
