I agree! You could use the 30.
I use a eureka spitfire for 1. It is not freestanding.

Tent
Packed Size: 6.5 x 19 in
Pack
Dimensions: 21" x 13" x 8" (52 cm. x 33 cm. x 21 cm.)
Stand the tent bag (with poles inside) in an upright position inside your pack and then pack your bag around the tent (which is in the middle). This will keep your tent poles from breaking when you put down your bag. However, that pack seems pretty small so you could attach the tent to the outside.
