Ate there once and thought it was damn good. Only thing I didn't care for at our 4 top was my gf's delmonico. Too charred tasting for me. My NY strip was done really well .. although $37 is a tad high for this place, I think. All the sides we shared were good. The carpaccio .. holy god. It was delicious but bring an army because it's a ton of food. Wine list is really solid. Great service that night too. I'd go there again over Morton's or Besh Steak.

I've never had a bad meal there
It's been very good everytime I went. So expensive though, glad I didn't have to pay both times.
R2R- the carpaccio is so delicious! i always get the filet and it's been awesome.

I think it's a very good steakhouse. I will preface my statements by saying I rarely dine at steakhouses, but I find Chop to be one of the best in town.
When people on this board compare Morton's or other chains, they rarely list CH. It is head and shoulders above Morton's. I like Ruth's but it's our local chain and am bias towards.
Yes, it's very pricey... Carpaccio is very well prepared.

Carpaccio at Ruth's is a little better .. but yes CH does it very well. I'm not a filet guy but my aunt got the filet and she loved it. Uncle got the center cut ribeye. I took a bite of his and it may have been the best of the 4.

Aww I wanted to get the ribeye last time but my friend insisted I get the filet. Next time I'm getting the ribeye.

It really is hard to beat Ruth's as far as consistency is concerned. They've always executed everything very well when I've been .. both the Nola and BR locations.

CH is great...I have only been once, for V-Day, and the food was outstanding. Trying to go back this weekend. Very cool steakhouse atmosphere as well.
