Is Kentucky The Favorite Next Year With Potential Returnees?

Just saw on the crawler that Archie Goodwin, Alex Poythress and Willie Cauley-Stein all said they are returning.
Now I know that's not set in stone, but they also have six commitments currently, easily the top class in the nation and will likely reel in Julius Randle or Andrew Wiggins.
Is there any other team that could really compete with that kind of talent next year?

Will they actually be able to honor all those scholarships with that many returning?

Their next recruiting class better pan out better in year one than this last one did if they want to have a chance.

They have two seniors, lose one with Noel, and I think someone on the SECR said they have three walk-ons that have a one-year scholly right now so that's 6 right there. I take it someone else may transfer like Jon Hood as he will see his playing time go to zilch

I doubt after the emotions subside that they will all return, but we will see. Once they do their off season workouts and get looked at by scouts, I suspect their sentiment will change, at least for a couple of them.
No issues with room, there are 3 walkons right now on a one year scholarship. They know it might not be there next year.

Hood won't go anywhere, he's a Kentucky boy who will be a senior next year.
I could see Poythress transferring if he decides to stay in college, and perhaps Harrow. If Goodwin and WCS stay, with the freshmen coming in, wow....

Shouldn't be an issue. Beckham and Mays have used up their eligibility, Noel is likely gone and possibly WCS (he said he wants to wait and see what his family says and how he's evaluated), and then I believe there are 3 more scholarships that were given to walk-ons on a 1 year basis.
Calipari actually does a pretty good job managing numbers like that. Every year he's been at UK he's left a few open in case something happened where guys would return.

Andrew Wiggins.

perhaps Harrow
Surprisingly he said last night that he has no intention on transferring and wouldn't mind coming off the bench at PG.
Obviously that can change. I don't know that he transfers given that it'd be his third stop though.

I don't think any of those guys come back with next year's draft class.
I think they also have to get Wiggins if they're going to.be as good as everyone thinks they are.

Harrow is such a disappointment

Hope he enjoyed wasting away his college career on the bench.
I'll be shocked if at least one, if not two, of WCS, Goodwin, and Poythress don't leave, and I wouldn't be surprised if Harrow leaves either on his own or with Cal's prodding

Depending on who returns Michigan could be savage good next year.

No way he goes to UNC. They have destroyed their reputation with the one and done players the last few years.

Some rumors that they are actually the team to beat. I still think he ends up at FSU, though.

He spent half of it in rehab with a torn ACL.
