Anybody know what the deal is on this place? Is it open closed?
joesdreyfusstorerestaurant.com says they're closed
but
joesdreyfusstorerestaurant.net says they're open and gives hours.
Is it open? If so, is it any good?
Looking for a decent place to eat along 190 other than Camille's or Not Your Mama's.

I recall reading on here a while back that it had closed. Why don't you pick up the phone and call them????

Give them a call to confirm, but I'm fairly certain they are open now. If you've not been, it's a more unique experience than Mama's.

Because when I made the post it was 6:20 in the f'n morning? Thought I could maybe get an answer here first.

I haven't called yet but just wanted to bump to see if anybody has actually been there lately and can give me a review. That's actually more important than just finding out if they're open or not.

The last time I went was pre katrina so a review prolly won't help you much but it was good then, and always has been since I was a kid, I am in my 30's......

Not same owners. Swapped hands twice. Had thw worst experience of my dining life at not yo mamas..... Owner nor mngr cared.
I wont stop and eat n Livonia again.....unless its to try Best Burger or breakfast at Pennys Diner

went a few months back. 2 hour wait. got our table and waited about another 30 min for a waitress to acknowledge us. ordered. another 10 minutes for drinks. got our salads and bread. another hour wait and no food. asked waitress and she forgot to put ticket in. got old woman who runs the place and she gave us attitude so we left and headed down the road to some little hole in the wall seafood place. will never go there again

I'm from Livonia, originally. Best Burger is the best burgers anywhere, and their ham n cheese poboy is the tits. But be near a bathroom 35 minutes after eating. Lots of grease.
Penny's was good drunk food when i was in high school.
I think i may have eaten at joe's 5 times my whole life. Locals didn't really eat there unless you were an elderly person.

I always saw lots of locals in uniforms there for lunch. Like auto mechanics and the like.
