I never thought I would start a kayak thread. I'm thinking about getting one.

Where is the best place to purchase one around BR?

How much do they cost for a comfortable one for a 6'4" 250 lb fisherman with a bad back?

All comments and suggestions appreciated.

Backpacker on Jefferson. $1000 for a nice one, but I'd look into the KC Kayaks. Very nice.

Come get mine and try it out in your pond. It was only $500.

I commented in the other thread to you that I appreciate the offer and was planning on asking to borrow yours for a test run.

I went I grand isle. Lots of fish. Most had lockjaw. Could see them tailing all day. Ended up with two after sight casting.

Might be windy so just stick to protected marsh. Anywhere right now should be about the same. I'm not an expert on spots until it warms up a bit
