the AQ for the NIT screwed us over alot of 1 seeds in conference tourneys didn't win their conference.

There were 10 auto seeds so 22 went ahead of us, teams like Denver, Detroit, UW.

Not surprised after what we saw earlier today.
Bottom line: 100 teams in the two tournaments (68 NCAA, 32 NIT). 15 teams got autobids with RPIs worse than 100. LSU's RPI was 86.
Do the math. It didn't add up. It would have taken a nice break for LSU to get in. LSU didn't get the break. But it didn't get screwed either.

There were a few teams with worse RPIs to get in than us. UW and ASU I know.
