Dry hopping is great. Don't want to skimp on it. Not sure what all equipment you have but if you're using pellet hops you might want to find a nylon hop bag to dry hop with so you don't end up with hop particles in your finished beer.

You can also use panty hose for a cheap and readily available hop bag.

i tried to use a bag and it got stuck trying to get it in the carboy, and I got pissed because the pellets were dissolving, so I just dumped them in
gonna take forever to screen that out when transfering to the bottling bucket
