So a young NBA team that gives away games? Interesting Monty aint blameless, but an inexperienced, thin roster doesn't help
They blew a 17 point lead against a Magic team that had lost 37 of their previous 43 games. And then blew a 25 point lead the next night. Talk about interesting.

Rivers is a players coach riding the wave of 1 title. There's a reason Pop will be the next coach of team USA.
Then why isn't Spoelstra or Carlisle in the running? They won the same amount of rings as Doc. Give the man some credit and just admit you were wrong about Doc's rep in the NBA.

I just told you Rivers was a players coach. He's actually the perfect coach for team USA. I never said he was a bad coach. He's just not a great coach. A college coach has coached Team USA for the past 7 years. Stop acting like the title defines an NBA coach as great. Spoelstra isn't a great coach. Carlisle is pretty damn good.

I'm not. I just find it laughable that you think Doc isn't regarded as a top coach in the NBA.

Currently speaking in no order: Doc, Pop, Carlisle, and Karl.

Most interesting. Again, Monty isnt blameless but the roster is thin and young. Young teams blow winnable games every night in the NBA. I dont care who is on the sidelines, this is a bad, young team. Continually calling for the coach, who signed a 4 year extension in August, to be fired is asinine.

Think Orlando kind of regrets that Doc Rivers decision?
Why would they regret that decision? They went through a few coaches before hiring Stan Van Gundy, who helped take them to the finals.

They bring in actual talent and Rivers was able show his true abilities.
His abilities or Thibodeau's abilities?

That's the problem. The talent disparity in the league has marginalized coaching and there really aren't that many great coaches. People want to replace Monty with a good strategist and game manager, well who is that guy? Mike Malone is the only "up and coming boy genius" type I'm aware of, although I follow the Hornets more closely than the league.
