Found a big pack of frozen specks in the back of my freezer

If frozen in water or in a vaccuum bag, sure, they are fine. Fry 'em up!

I don't have a problem as long as they're either vac sealed or in water with nothing exposed to air. Vac seal is the best, though.

Should be good soak in milk,mustard,crab boil and worcheshire overnight then fry them up. Chances are you would taste the fishiness if you didn't.
