re: GQ's 40 Worst-Dressed Cities in America

Did yall flip through the article? It basically listed every city in America. Apparently, there aren't any well dressed cities in America.

Yes, it's hard to discern there, what cities they might consider "well-dressed."

Maybe Charleston, perhaps.

OP,

I think you can travel to any midwestern town and find the worst dress sectioin of the country. That isn't to diminish the tragedy that is LA and Miami.

Seriously. I believe Chicago is the only town they missed. That list is worthless.

FTR - New Orleans can also be the best dressed city on a night like white linen.

i am surprised they missed phoenix.

we have the scottsdale douche look.
we have the west valley motocross-looking dude (flat-brimmed hat, fox t-shirt, skinny jeans and dc shoes).
we have the white t-shirt and giant baggy khakis look that all the cholos wear.

I associate that look with a lot of Central and Southern Cali as well.

I don't know why, but I find that term hilarious

What happened to all the older bearded gentlemen that made bushy hair and sideburns so graceful? The ones at Jazz Fest taking the big easy in khaki shorts, loose linen shirts, and straw hats? The ones strolling the grass in sandals and nursing a to-go cup of Abita and forking a fried oyster

They went back home up North after Jazz Fest

How in the hell was Nashville not on the list? The only people I seemed to run into there that have a remote idea of how to dress appropriately are college students.

The sad part is that the people who are reading this thread who are thinking to themselves that they are snazzy dressers are the fratsters rocking button up polos with the sleeves cuffed, shorts that come inches above the knee, boat shoes, and Costas with the frat strap, when in actuality they are the douchiest most unoriginal dressers of all.
