That's a good one if it's convenient. I'm a George's guy but I like Dempsey's just fine. Plus there's comes with fries.

Get a cup and a half and thank me later.

Can't go wrong with Dempsey's. I'm also partial to the the grilled shrimp and prime rib poboys at Sammy's.

Roast Beef at Monjuni's is the best in BR.

Prime Rib at Sammy's is a close second, but it's still second.

I don't get the love for Dempseys. It's OK but just OK. Only thing above-average there is the CFS.

I won't eat at George's.

Meatball Po-Boy at Pocorello's is legit, but ONLY the meatball.

Oh, and if Pokey himself takes your order, ... don't take it personal.

Honestly I haven't found any poboys in BR that are worth a damn. I've had the "prime rib" at Sammy's but it sure didn't seem like prime rib to me. I usually opt for Chimes or Uncle O's. I also like the buster crabs poboy at PoBoy Express, when in season.

Roast beef poboy at NewOrleans poboys and gyros on coursey. Can't believe this place doesn't get more love in here. Less than a half mile from pokies, but much better IMO. Gravy and mayo mix beautifully.

George's..get a fried oyster and ask them to serve it on toasted wheat sandwich bread..each bite is great without all bread bites in between.
