My wife got me the top of the line Cuisinart model Christmas-before-last and I've used it twice. Almost everything I'm inclined to use it for - chopping veggies, blending, pureeing - I rationalize that I can do quicker with a knife or blender, once assembly, use, disassembly, washing, drying and reassembly is factored in.

I come to F&D for inspiration. I'd like to get some use out of this cool gadget.

Please lay it on me.

I use mine for hummus, pesto, and my semi world famous lamb marinade. Also do a blender Béarnaise in my small one.

I like making sauces in mine as well with as many whole fresh ingredients as possible. Prepared horseradish is much better fresh than jarred.

You are right. I only use mine, now, for making Peanut Butter. The Cleaning Time Negates the "Proficiency" of the Machine.
