They shared their wisdom with me and I'm grateful I was smart enough to heed their words. My only purpose in all this is to pass on what they showed me.
all of that is nice and all, but people are different. YOUR experiences and YOUR life is just that, YOURS. I bet I could put 100 people through the same situations and I'd have several different opinions on this subject. You're basically arguing that love/marriage is not subject to the individuality every human possesses.

What you claim is my arrogance is me telling you what I've been told time and time again by people who are both older and much more wise than me.
And one main mistake I've been warned against making is thinking that true happiness and contentment can be found in this world without a family of your own. The danger in this is that if you have to figure this out on your own, it may be too late to do anything about it.
