The Eurosnobs will argue that Paul Weller doesn't figure into this category, but I give it to Style Council for My Ever Changing Moods.

Return of the Mack mentioned above is a good one.

Whoever the frick sang No Diggity is another one, I think.

Not sure about hit status, but "That's Entertainment" gets lots of play on Sirius.

I did not like the Jam back then, but like those songs now.
