That seems to be the consensus on their food. Some people rave about it though.

Going almost head to head (1 hour after) GA and Clemson. We'll still get a decent TV audience depending on how that game shakes out in the 1st half.

Will be there frying frog legs along with other tasty treats.

We cooked a bunch of ducks in a gravy 2 years ago for the Oregon game. I can't wait. That was one of the most fun games I had been to in a while.

I'm disappointed the game isn't the "7pm ABC" game, but I'm happy we get one more hour to tailgate.

Stay in Ft Worth if you are going to the game.

Highly recommend downtown FW--good number of quality hotels + Sundance Square within walking distance. Very underrated bar scene.

Dallas has nice hotels in greater quantity than Fort Worth. Unless you have family in Dallas, drive to JerryWorld easier from FW than Dallas.

I'll be staying in Dallas. I have family there first of all and the bars are more fun downtown Dallas than the Stockyards (though the stockyards can be very cool if you've never been go to White Elephant)

IMHO, the Stockyards is 3rd best in the FW bar scene behind downtown FW & West 7th Ave. I also believe the downtown FW bars are as good or better than downtown D.

Stockyards is a little too faux-redneck for me. I'll stick to the bars frequented by TCU coeds.

I'm already here! Time to work some close connections to the Cowboys.
