Just a little public service announcement about this event. Awesome food for a great cause.
It appears they are moving to a better location in city park this year and have added a Friday night VIP experience that sounds neat.

I am not a sponser or anything. Just saw the huge sign out at city park and thought I would post here to remind everyone.

One of my favorite events of the year. Unfortunately, it's on my wedding day this time.

I believe they built a track, and the vendors will set up around the path. This should make it easier to get around and sample the offerings.

I got my tics!! Anyone get the VIP pass for all you can eat or drink? Is it worth it?

Major thumbs up for the organizers for not making this a ticket master event.

I'm still pissed about the New Orleans International Beer Fest with this crap.
Admission is $40 and I have to pay $9 to ticket master.

Never been, how does this work? Do you get to taste all of the contestants food, or do they have separate vendors selling bbq?

Think Jazz Fest with 80 teams cooking pork...and you get to sample all the teams food for whatever they are selling for. Nola Brew, Wine and liquor too I this year.
