Somewhere in the transition from mountains to desert and with few people around. Portal, Az; Torrey, UT,
maybe Lee Vining, CA; places like that. Maybe somewhere like a Homer/Haines Alaska as well though with the rain and clouds and winter I'm not so sure. But honestly I don't want to be pinned down to one place and would rather travel for a few years before picking a location. "The road" is my answer for now.

I'd go with either extreme,,, the Florida keys or lower Alaska.

Outside the state, I would pick Idaho.

I'm heading to Texas! Would have loved to go to Colorado but I won't live anywhere they are restricting guns or magazines.

I've heard and read good things about New Zealand. I'd like to see for myself.

I've been. Outside of the cities, there isn't nothing you can't find on the PNW coast.

There are hobbits on the PNW coast?

Alaska, Montana, the Sierra Nevada, Asheville NC. All could be my home in a heart beat.
