Over Brady Quin? It's a massive upgrade. I think he will thrive in Reid's offense and this all but assures the #1 pick being an OT unless they find someone to trade down with.

It's enough of one to where they don't have to use their first overall pick to draft a shitty QB just because he's the best QB in the draft.
This allows them to add better pieces and not have to reach.

With Charles, Bowe (assuming resign), Moeki, Baldwin then this is a pretty good offense on paper.... Resign the OT, draft an OT and you have makings of a solid offensive line

no doubt. I would take Smith over any of the QBs available...that you would have to use a #1 on.....

Nice move. Smith isn't great but he is a good game-managing QB. It's not like KC needs to go 14-2 in the AFC West. 10-6 can win the division.
Run the ball with Charles and Smith can prosper nicely by throwing only 15-20 times a game.

They had 6 pro bowlers last year. The offense was just horrible. Reid should fix that.
