I used to find Tony supremely annoying and uninformed, and at the same time I really like Wilbon and thought of him as a somewhat insightful guy.

As time has passed, Wibon's schtick has worn thin. He's a bully and says stupid shite just to hear himself talk.

Tony on the other hand, while still awfully ignorant, is at least just is who he is and fairly harmless.

Kornheiser used to be pretty good on the radio. Haven't listened to him in a while. He sucked on MNF.

But I don't like Wilbon at all now. His act is tired.

I actually think Mr. Tony is really good on the radio, he's better with a little more time to flesh things out. Wilbon is just kind of becoming a jock sniffing douche. Tony doesn't seem to caught up in the celebrity of the business as much.

Yes Tony is also much better in radio. He has Wilbon on as a guest sometimes who comes off terribly.

yeah, he has some pretty worthless opinions on football. Like picking the Tampa Bay Bucs to win the division back in 2011. He said this after they won an ugly game vs. Atlanta like 16-13 or something. Talked about how it was a big time win for a young ball club.

Wilbon is a racist. All SEC people are cheaters and not as good as Boise State except for Cam Newton.

His "expertise" is hoops because he is a drinking buddy of big players and they can never do wrong.

pretty much this

I used to think Wilbon was great but he has become incredibly preachy and narrow minded. He seems to be easily swayed by star power and his NBA coverage sucks arse.

I like Tony b/c he doesn't pontificate and openly admits when he doesn't know much about a given subject.

I like both buti only watch them on PTI or Wilbon on the NBA pregame show.

Why do some of you think he's racist? I've never gotten that vibe from him...

Can't listen to them at all anymore b/c they both have the worst and worthless opinions on CFB.

Especially Tony - his exposure to CFB is like everyone else's exposure to women's field hockey - but we don't go on National TV and pretend to be informed about it.

That's the problem with North East TV/Radio guys - they suck at college football...even Bill Simmons.

Wilbon isn't a racist, he is just really arrogant. If the subject is about anything other than the NBA / NHL he just takes the negative angle, no matter what. He's a massive douche who doesn't really do his homework noe that he is "established".

I mean Wilbon's take is just so lazy. He was praising Josh Freeman's performance in that win. Called it a gutty performance or some shite like that. The guy had two interceptions in that game that could have just as easily cost his team the game. He was also all over Raheem Morris's nuts after that game.

at no point did he ever give Tampa's defense any credit for that win. Which tells me he didn't watch the game.
