This is like the third or fourth time I've seen this posted and still no one has told me who Tony Pauline is or why I should care what he says.

This is what happens with the internet. Somebody (or, more accurately, a nobody) puts something out there, 10 people repeat it, and all of a sudden it's "news" and treated as fact.
Unless and until someone puts a name to the coach(es) who are allegedly saying things, or provides something resembling credible credentials on Pauline, this should be whacked. If I posted that "I heard from someone that LSU Player X is [fill in your career damaging slander]," it wouldn't be tolerated here. Neither should this just because some guy can afford a website account.
Not saying it couldn't be true. Just saying that until it can be substantiated, it doesn't belong here.

In addition, I would bet, that if someone investigated this cat Tony Pauline, it would be found out that he has ties to some other SEC school.

The allegation from this Pauline guy isn't that Sam took some plays off. Sam says that himself. It's that unnamed LSU coaches are "slamming" him for it. Maybe true, maybe not. But not substantiated. Keep eye on ball.
