Tried the Premium Reserve and the Redwood Ale it was pretty damn good. Anybody else try this?

What other beers do you consider "pretty damn good"??

Just don't confuse HW with a craft beer.

I lived in Seattle in the late 80's and Oregon in the late 90's . Henry's was awesome back then and is still better than the BMC brands. Craft beers have grown alot since then but Henry's is still solid.

What they're trying to say is that it's owned by SABMiller, so it's not exactly a craft/microbrew anymore.

Right, but it still taste good to me. Do you like it?

I've never tried it, but I may consider it after the positive review. And I thought that Miller made up the nam rod this ficticius brand dame to make it look like craft. Now thatiknow it used to be craft, i'll giv e it a whirl.

It was just a small regional brewery like Yuengling. Nothing spectacular just a sold choice that was priced the same as Bud (back then).

Honestly, I thought Henry Weinhard was just a made up name so Miller could pass it off as a microbrew.

My wife bought a 6-pack of the IPA the other day. It was OK. I doubt if I would ever buy it again, there are way too many good beers out there

It was a very old family brewery. The great or just the grandson has his own brewery in that area now.
